• Justine only works in private lessons and with teenage dogs . She’s dedicated to the individual success
  of the dogs that she trains.

• You always have access to support from Justine via text/phone between lessons.

• Most equipment/ training cliff notes booklets, ; you provide a goal list of 5ish things (examples below),
  and a dog with an empty belly!

• Justine is where clients come when other trainers have failed and she is the only trainer who will have you
  working in public by lesson three! Not a franchise!

• Note: This is not for aggressive dogs, or puppies
  (must be 6 months or older). Some re-activity can be
  handled, but Justine does not work with dogs with a

Private In Home Board and Train Camp

• Board and Train Camp involves your dog living with Justine, her family, her dogs, and five
  cats for 24 hours a day in her home, getting consistent round-the-clock training for 7-14 days
  depending on the dog and handler’s needs.

• Justine only takes one dog into her home for Board and Train Camp at a time so advance
  reservations are necessary.

• To begin, you join Justine for a 30 min “meet the dog” session before your dog stays with
  Justine for the agreed upon amount of time.

• At the end of camp, the handlers join Justine for a 2 hour pick-up lesson with their dog.

• To be considered for Board and Train Camp your dog must have up-to-date vet records, be neutered, house broken, sleep in a crate,
  and go to a doggie daycare. (Please text to discuss if this is not possible)

• These camps are best suited for dogs over 6 months.

• Dogs sleep about 15 feet from Justine, she can hear them if they need attention at night.

• Cost of Board and Train Camp is $1700-3000 depending on duration and dog’s needs.

FAQ

Why only text message and not call?

I only respond to text so I can answer your questions with care and attention
you deserve. I may be in a lesson or training.

Will my dog transfer the lessons to my house?

Yes. You will work closely with me and see all the skills your dog has learned
as well as how to stay on the right track. Because training is an ongoing
process, behaviors are not guaranteed, but it is guaranteed that you go
home with a well-mannered dog and the tools to continue this changed
behavior, as long as you keep reinforcing the work.

Will my dog like you and be happy training?

Yes all the dogs I work with adore me, and obey me. Dogs love that I speak
“senior dog” and stop speaking puppy, so dogs will listen! My house is called
“zen happy camp” and dogs have a great time here.

Will my dog still love me and remember me?

Yes they will remember you and still love you too. Dogs have big hearts with
lots of love to give.

Justine Merrill has 40+ years experience as an RN and 30+ years experience guiding over 2,000
dogs (and their people) through her innovative and reliable system of obedience training.

Her advice is practical and customized specifically on getting your dog to behave for you and your
family. Owning a dog should be fun and easy. Her private sessions work to bring out the best in
both your dog and you.

Justine began training dogs in obedience at 12 years old and soon found herself in the competitive
world of Dog Agility where she has been a member of the Columbia Agility Team for over 20 years.
(Dog Agility is at its core high speed obedience.) Justine has ran three dogs to agility
championships in the last 25 years and she has put several master titles on her own dogs.

Justine’s body of work is entirely her own and was cultivated through years of hands-on
experiences. Your dog is Justine’s priority: this is not a franchise; there are no subcontractors; there
is no outside kenneling. Justine advises not training with anyone who has not put titles on dogs in
canine performance events.
